Why does Chetan Bhagat seem to have a love-hate relationship with Indians?” And, to be honest, I’m not sure why Chetan Bhagat is still trolled. He writes well and there must be some reason why his books always hit the bestseller charts despite the many criticisms thrown his way. What his critics often forget is the fact that Chetan is the only guy who popularized Indian fiction amongst Indians. Indeed, β€œOne Indian Girl” is associated with hitting Amazon’s pre-order sales record. Ever since the site first launched in 2013.Then why do I get a lot of “Haha” responses when I tell people I’m looking forward to reading his new book? Well, I’ll never get it, I guess!

REVIEW

Moving over to the novel, “One Indian Girl” is all about a young woman named Radhika Mehta who operates for the prestigious investment bank Goldman Sachs. Radhika, who used to be as nerdy as they come, has just arrived in Goa for her destination wedding with Brijesh Gulati. Radhika, on the other hand, is unaware that marrying Brijesh will not be as simple as she had anticipated. Situations occur, and something messes up (for the sake of spoilers, I’m not saying anything more), but will Radhika be able to drive her way out of this mess?

Chetan Bhagat is the author of eight blockbuster books. Author narrates one Indian girl from woman's pov.

Read the story read to know more about Radhika and the fascinating journey she will take you on.

β€œOne Indian Girl”, to me, felt like a CHIKK-LIT though it can also be placed in the general fiction category by many. The fact that Radhika’s story is as amusing and exciting as a wedding is the best part of the novel. Chetan has accomplished an excellent job writing in a female voice. The story is told from Radhika’s point. It’s difficult to believe that a man will write so accurately about a woman’s feelings (I read that he interviewed many women for this). Despite the fact that the book is ostensibly about feminism, it ultimately conforms to the standards of general chick lit. SAs a result, it didn’t strike me as a particularly feminist novel. “There are several feminist issues here and there, often in the form of rants,” says the author.

The plot is really interesting. Despite the fact that there are several elements, they all come together beautifully in the end. The characters are also fun. I am sure every girl would love to read about Radhika and her misadventures in Loveland. “I liked Debu and Neel’s characters as well, but Brijesh’s character fell flat for me.” The narrative jumps back and forth between the present, the past, and the present, which adds to the book’s pace. The book in its entirety of 280 pages did not appear dull even at a single point. The book’s climax, however, was the best part – it was totally unexpected and flabbergasted me.

The story is motivational for young readers to achieve goals in their life. In fact, The author Chethanbhagat pleased with his writings. The author often used to wake up the dreams of young people of the nation. Apparently, the author’s six best-selling novels ensure you do much bigger in your life.

“As a result, I strongly advise everyone to read “One Indian Girl.”. It’s a pleasurable read. I gave the book four and a half stars out of five, and that says it all.
